Gent, 08 June 2025 — Jamyang Lophel School held its annual parents’ meeting today, emphasizing the importance of family involvement and cultural education.
Mr. Kunchok Tsultrim, who has served as head teacher since the school’s founding in 2016, announced his resignation after nine years of dedicated service. He has been deeply involved with both the school and the Tibetan Cultural Center (TCC) in Gent.
Mr. Jigmey Tsewang, former head of the Parents’ Association, has been appointed as the new head of the school. The community warmly welcomes him and wishes him success in his new role.
Ms. Lhamo Dolma was elected as the new head of the Parents’ Association.
The meeting concluded with a Q&A session, reflecting the community’s strong commitment to education and cultural preservation.
